NIGERIA DESK

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies can also remember preferences or help deliver website features. This notice should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Our Launch Configuration

Nigeria Desk launches without advertising cookies, audience analytics tags, social-media tracking pixels or embedded third-party videos. Reading an ordinary public page does not require creating an account.

Necessary Website Functions

WordPress may use cookies for signed-in administration, authentication, security and login checks. These support managing the publication. Security or hosting services may also use necessary controls to protect availability and detect abusive traffic.

Site search sends the words you enter as part of the requested web address. Contact-form anti-abuse checks are handled on the server and are not used to build an advertising profile.

Optional Technologies

If analytics, advertising or other optional tracking is introduced, we will update this notice and provide the controls required for the relevant use and location. Necessary functions should not be bundled with an optional advertising choice.

Where applicable, rejecting an optional purpose should be as clear as accepting it, and you should be able to revisit your choice. A generic notice alone does not substitute for a required advertising consent system.

Browser Controls

You can use your browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may affect signing in or other protected functions. Removing a cookie can also remove a preference that it stored.

External Websites

A link to another website does not by itself load that website’s advertising tools on Nigeria Desk. If you follow the link, that website’s own cookie and privacy practices apply.
